My Life Without Me

Moi!

I'm Jess. I live in London, Ontario, and go to school in Windsor for Film Production. I enjoy:

  • making films
  • watching films
  • live music
  • B&W photography
  • nintendo
  • science fiction novels
  • tetris
It may be boring, but this is my life, and I love it.

Lovely Days - 8:14 P.M.

So I haven’t written in awhile and figure I should catch up those who actually read this.

Today I did something spontaneous and also sort of not spontaneous. I bought a new Nikon D60 10.2MP camera. It was a big purchase, but it was also on sale for an amazing price that I could not pass up. Everything, tax in, for under $500. Okay, only 3 dollars less than 500, but still, a great deal. My old camera was getting a little outdated and had a broken flash, so I figured it would come in handy. I pick it up tomorrow, and I’m super excited to try it out!

I’m starting a practica (i.e. a co-op) and we’re learning how to use the camera that we’ll be shooting a documentary with. So tomorrow we’re meeting and figuring out how to equipment all works. I’m also really excited to start working on an actual crew doing a real project that I’ll get credit for.

Tomorrow after all that I’m going back to London for the Thanksgiving weekend/UWindsor reading week. We’re going up north to Kinmount for the weekend, and then heading back because some people have school. I plan on chilling, taking some awesome photos, and visiting friends.

Metric concert is in 16 days! : )
